in Netherlands. The client works with E-Procurement software that has
extremely complex transactional database with more than 1000 tables
normalized to the fifth form. The client works with many respected
buying organizations who have a very complex buying behavior and want to
monitor their purchasing behavior for a better spend management.

transactional, the client was facing problems in:
The SolutionTo improve this situation, it was decided to
implement an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solution that collects
information from the numerous transaction applications and provides a
single window for information access.
Eperium, after an assessment of the technical situation and the pressing business need of quick delivery of solutions, decided on a federated ROLAP architecture. However, explicit care was taken to ensure that the key dimensions were conformed to across the data marts.. The EDW is made up of a granular operational data store and a data warehouse.
