The Challenge
The Business Strategy Eperium India adopted a very cost effective on site-offshore partnership model to meet the client requirements. After carefully scrutinizing the whole requirement is decided that every big supplier will be modeled as a separate channel and all the small suppliers can be modeled in to a separate business customer. The price control mechanism was taken care of by using a price list control mechanism, which happens to be one of the strong features of Intershop technology framework. Also it was taken care of that the all the types of special discounts and pricing were handled with the help of robust promotion handling mechanism at the back office. The objective was to build an e-commerce B2B solution that was capable of offering a high performance, robust and a scalable solution. The scalability of the system delivered by Eperium India allowed the client organization to get quick response time even when multiple system are interacting with each other. The system is currently working with a powerful content management system and is integrated with a payment gateway. The highlight of the solutions was delivering the client a system, which is cost effective, and at the same time flexible enough to accommodate any projected changes which were forecasted by the client organization.
